As we make our way to Ponte de Lima we have wended our way up hills of cobblestone. Each little town laid out in beauty of fruit, flowers and fauna.
The vast spectrum is surprising. From citrus fruits ripening to intense colors to the bird of paradise plants to wild heather blooming. It’s a casual garden of eden that lines our pathways.

The morning mists rising among the valleys of olive groves and grapes.
With the occasional water spigot trickling into stone carved tanks.
We are serenaded along by birds in the tree. Ducks quack us forward and dogs on roofs bark down at us to get along.
It’s a menagerie of life in a Garden of Eden tended by those living it.
Serene and dusted with magic.
