Hotel California, A Stamp, Deviations

This day was slow. Like watching paint dry or feet heal. Slow.

We spent most of today at our lovely Hotel Denis which has a wonderfully capable manager in Renee. She has efficiently organized our transport for tomorrow as we head in to Varazdin, Croatia. There we will briefly catch up with our hiking cohort.

We’ve decided to deviate to Zagreb for the weekend where we plan to bike and sightsee while James continues to heal.

Meanwhile the May 30 cohort has crossed many borders today and collected a border cross stamp-a rare commodity! Well done!
